Burnside Tourism is officially underway with planning for the 2026 Christmas Island season, and sponsorship opportunities are now open.
While the holiday season may still seem months away, Christmas Island is a year-round effort, with preparations beginning well in advance to ensure another magical experience for our community and visitors.
Returning sponsors from last year have until May 15 to reserve their same scene location before any remaining spaces open to new sponsors.
New sponsors are also encouraged to get involved, but availability is limited and scenes are already beginning to fill.
As one of Burnside’s most beloved annual traditions, Christmas Island continues to bring holiday cheer, twinkling lights, and unforgettable family memories to the Lake Cumberland region each season.
Businesses and organizations interested in becoming part of this year’s display are encouraged to contact Burnside Tourism soon to secure a sponsorship spot.
