It was a beautiful day at State Dock as the community marked the official ribbon (or rather, rope) cutting for the Lake Cumberland Wayfinding Signage Project—a major step forward in enhancing navigation and safety across the region.
This project was made possible through the collaboration of local, state, and federal partners, working together to plan and install informational signage and kiosk stations in high-traffic areas on and off the water. These new hubs provide clear directional and descriptive messaging to help travelers make safer, more informed decisions throughout the Lake Cumberland area.
A big thank-you goes out to everyone involved in making this project a success—from drafting the grant proposal to managing implementation and completing final documentation. Your efforts have created a more accessible and welcoming experience for all who explore the lake.
Stay tuned for more updates as these improvements continue to shape the way we experience one of Southern Kentucky’s most beloved destinations!
